Motorola has a nice gift for Oscar hosts and nominees of this year. Well, a gold Xoom tablet for the Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actors and Actresses and Best Director for this year’s Oscar show will be given by Motorola in a specially designed leather envelope style case. Let’s hope that some of the stars will not just hang them on their walls along with other rewards without pressing ON button and at least have a look at the super appealing new Android Honeycomb home screen.

Finally, the long anticipated date has arrived and Motorola Xoom is available for purchase on BestBuy.com website. $799 is the price for 3G equipped version of Motorola’s super tablet, Xoom which is full featured by Android 3.0 Honeycomb, blazing fast NVIDIA dual core Tegra 2 processor, two cameras and full HD support. While the Wi-Fi only Xoom tablet is not available on BestBuy yet (by the time of writing this post), there are several Xoom accessories you can consider buying alongwith the tablet. These are a Motorola Xoom case, charging dock, stereo speaker dock and bluetooth keyboard. I see that the prices for accessories are not so high and worth of buying if you have the budget to experience the Honeycomb tablet in full.
