According to digitimes website, Motorola has an aim to sell 700,000 to 800,000 tablets in Q1 2011. As we know, Samsung Galaxy tab achieved such record and even passed these numbers with their 7 inch tablet and Motorola Xoom tablet — being the most impressive 10.1 inch tablet so far — it is a reasonable estimation.

Also, we should consider that there is still a very huge potential tablet market although iPad is the leader currently in sales.

Digitimes states that the source of these numbers are from the established component makers for the tablets. They have also published that Motorola Xoom will be available in at least 4 colors.
