According to a latest Verizon insider leak in which Android Central got, Motorola Xoom tablet will be priced at $800 at minimum when released to the market.
The photo shows the MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) of several Motorola handsets, HTC Thunderbolt along with Motorola Android tablet, Xoom. While the authenticity of it is surely not certain — anyone can easily prepare such documents or fake emails at home conditions, there were multiple reports saying the same price tag, $800.
The price tags look natural actually. For example, the price tag of HTC Thunderbolt. Assuming that $200 is the average price tag for smartphones, $50 increase for 4G network is logical. 10.1 inch Xoom tablet price of $800 is actually competitive while 7 inch Galaxy Tab’s price is close to it.
