There were very different naming predictions for the upcoming Motorola tablet, amongst them Motorola Everest and Stingray being the first candidates. Now, a Motorola XOOM Tablet is being mentioned everywhere.

The main reason is the trademark registrations that Motorola was executing on the XOOM name all over the world according to PocketNow website.

But, I do not think so.

I have checked MotorolaXoom.com website and see that it is privately registered through a company. I did not assume that Motorola would register the domain names privately. After further research, I have found several domain names. For example, MotorolaDroid.com was registered by Motorola Trademark Holdings, LLC, not privately. So, MotorolaXoom.com would be in the same situation.

After Tablet Evolution video, an Evolution tablet name also comes to mind but my favorite is DroidPad although droidpad.com domain name was not registered by Motorola.

update: DroidXoom.com has also similar situation.

Anyway, I have so much loved what Andy Rubin has shown in D:Dive Into Mobile event, so eagerly waiting to buy the new Motorola Android Honeycomb tablet.
