Finally, the day has come and Motorola officially showed long-waited world’s first Android Honeycomb tablet, Motorola Xoom — running on a dual-core processor with up to 2GHz speed which is amazing for a tablet. First of all, from the media playback tablet perspective, Motorola Xoom surpasses all the other competitor tablets (Playbook, iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Toshiba’s currently unnamed tablet etc.) thanks to optimized Honeycomb OS featured on a 1280×800 resolution 16:10 widescreen display with 1080p HD support. Considering the processor speed, it is a breath-taking experience to view HD quality videos on Motorola Xoom. Obviously the tablet takes advantage of built-in HDMI output as well.
